Our client is a leading IT supplier, who make bespoke systems for clients.
They are currently recruiting for an experienced Business Development Manager/ Account Manager to look after the South region, focusing mainly on the education industry.
You will be responsible for maximising business through various different means. You will be responsible for attending business meeting with your clients and providing a full service to your clients. You will also need to present sales pitches and put together quotations for prospective clients.
For this role you will be out on the road quite a bit as you will need to hold review meetings with your clients and visit them regularly to maintain good relationships.
The successful candidate will need to have experience of a similar role. Great business relationship building skills and a confident sales approach are essential.
You will also need to be a great negotiator and have a good knowledge on the IT industry.
