Our Client has an exciting opportunity available within their Banking Operations Team for a Manager with significant knowledge of domestic and international payments. This is an exciting role, within a fast moving business that will add significant value to the organisation’s ongoing success, so a flexible, highly motivated individual who wants to make a big impact is required.
The post holder will report directly to the Banking Operations Manager, and will be responsible and accountable for:
• Motivating, inspiring and leading a team of 16 Banking Specialists
• Ensuring the team is timely and accurate in the execution of all payments, both domestic and international to meet our clients needs
• Personal and Team Development – to develop skills and knowledge in line with business requirements and to champion the implementation of change initiatives
The successful candidate will demonstrate the highest level of people management skills coupled with a strong track record of service delivery and exceptional client focus.
• Minimum of 7 years relevant financial services experience
• Operating in a Retail Banking Operations/Service environment
• Extensive knowledge of domestic and international payments
• The ability to lead and develop teams
• Judgement and decision making skills
• Target setting and Performance Management
