This dynamic and rapidly growing business services company wishes to appoint an experienced and forward thinking Project Accountant for this key position.
Reporting to the Finance Director, duties will include a wide range of commercial accounting, including both day to day financial management and a high degree of non-repetitive project based work of both a financial and management accounting nature.
With primary responsibilty for providing finance support to customers and projects within this operating subsidary of the group, the position involves; careful planning, control, budgeting and forecasting. The successful candidate will also assist in ensuring that the projects live within their means, but also deliver upon their commitments to customers.
A technically strong and very 'hands on' Accountant, the successful candidate will be either qualified or qualified by experience, with strong IT literacy and extensive, demonstrable , project accounting experience.
Strong systems and MS Excel skills are also essential, as is effective communication and, preferably, knowledge from within construction, utility or other similar large and complex projects.
